We have spent so much time this week studying plants! We learned about different parts of a plant (we actually studied the parts of a REAL bluebonnet from Mrs. Guerra's yard). Then we guessed which parts of a plant we were eating when we ate vegetables like broccoli, celery, carrots, etc. This was fun. We also collected leaf samples and compared them. Lastly we counted and compared the amount of seeds in a variety of fruits. It has been a hands on week of learning for us!!
We love using shaving cream to practice spelling! So much fun!!
Logan was our pillar of character for citizenship. He is always the last kid cleaning every day, making sure the room is spic and span so the custodians don't have to work as hard each day. He is also very dependable. We love having Logan in our class.
Enjoy some pictures of us showing off to our families! Thank you to all who came out to student led conferences.
I love being a teacher! This is my 6th year, and I love to watch these amazing kiddos grow right in front of my eyes. I am privileged to provide them with hands on learning experiences that will help them love learning. Have fun taking a peek into our classroom!
